There are over 200 shows in Vegas- quite an amazing amount! Some of the shows we have seen are no longer there. Most of them ban photos and videos.Ones we have seen
La Reve- Seen this twice and would easily go again. Info and a video click here. This is absolutely stunning. The stage becomes water and there is fire as well. The music helps to transport you away. It also has some audience participation but don't worry! You wont have to leave the safety of your seat! I have no idea how much the whole theatre took to be built and the production itself must be in the millions.
Ka- this is a cirque du soleil show. photos and video - click here. The stage actually rotates 360 degrees. I stopped trying to understand the story and just watched the performance. To be honest, I was really tired after an 11 hour trip to see the Grand Canyon, so I appreciated it but would really have been better on another day. It is spectacular.
All Shook Up- I had some persuading to get my OH to go there as he is an Elvis fan and thought this might be a bit naff. This is in the V Theatre in Planet Hollywood. Small and so you really can't get a bad seat. There is a compere for inbetween the costume changes who was a great singer as well( not Elvis). I loved this show- so did my OH! Below is a good video to show what it is like. They do allow photos and videos.
Donny and Marie Osmond- The show is at the Flamingo. It has been in Vegas for quite a few years. They sure know how to put on a spectacular! Loads of singing, dancing and audience participation. I particularly liked the photos they put up in the background and videos from way back. They also sang their new songs- and at the time we saw them, were top of the album and single charts there. Marie actually impressed me. I never thought she would sing Nessun Dorma so beautifully. We both enjoyed the show.

As you can imagine it was outrageous and a riot! I laughed a lot. Quite a small show area and its more like a huge conference room with chairs set out for the show( and with a stage). Don't go there if you would feel like you would curl up and die if you get picked on!! This was just what I expected it would be. I probably wouldn't go again but it was a laugh.
These were the ones we saw this this time plus La Reve from before.
I really wanted to see Michael Jackson One, but the tickets that were left were almost $200 each and that is just a bit too much for me!!
Thanks Fiona loads of info here!
