Tickets? lol. I must check 20 times and I'm still doing it on the way to the airport  I notice you've put health cards, have you got insurance as well? you'll need the policy. I also always take the invoice(s) relating to the holiday just in case, lol. Have a lovely holiday Copper, and please let us know how you got on! love Linda x

Hi Linda, Thanks for your reply, have got the tickets lol (I'll be the one who forgets them!!!!) you've just reminded me of something I need to do though, booked over the net and printer will only work for my daughter  all the insurance details/invoice etc was sent via email......................will have to get her to print it off, thanks.......I'd forgot about that. We've got about £2000 that we've changed into euros, we're going AI, would you advise taking any more or just keeping our extra cash in sterling and if needs be change it over there??? Sorry to keep going on but I ain't got a clue and like I said before I'm getting a bit "jittery" now lol

Hi Copper, I think the money you are taking in euro's should be enough as you are all inclusive, unless you go on a mad shopping spree.I hope you have a wonderul time as Majorca in my most favourite place, first went in 1974. Been lots of places since, but it's still my favourite. Can't wait for October, we are off to Cala Bona, not been there since 1979 and can't wait to see how much it has changed.I went back to Magaluf after twenty something years and hardly reconised it. I'm sure you will be fine so let us know how you get on when you get back .

Hi Serena, hope you enjoy your stay and thanks for your reply, hopefully if the kids don't decide to get all their mates diamonds to take back we should be ok lol.

Through this site we have found out loads of information about where we are going...................otherwise I'd have been clueless.

We have chosen a quiet resort as first timers, just to get an idea of the country, but I never ever felt like I would feel like I do, I feel like a kid who's about to start school..........crazy eh???? Can't wait but nervous too, have flown once before but only to the Isle of Man and back again........wasn't too bad, so here's hoping!!!!

Thanks for your reply and hope you have a great time out there,

Take care xxxxxxx

Cala San is a lovely quiet resort, i presume you're off to the Don Pedro, if so the hotel staff were so friendly when we were there a couple of years back. Views from the hotel are fab, the hotel is built into the cliffs. If you're not getting a car but want to get out and about the local bus stop is opposite trotters bar, english tv every night!!!! There aren't many busses through resort, thinks its only 3/4 per day, going down to puerto pollensa; theres more busses from there if you need them though.

Enjoy your holiday, fingers crossed for the weather, we're off to alcudia in 1 week

Hi copper, sounds like you have it all under control  . You should have loads with the money you are taking, with you being A/I. All that's left to do now is to have the best time ever, and I'm sure you will. We're off in 17 days (not that I'm counting) and I'll look forward to hearing about your hols when you get back.......enjoy!!!!..love Linda x :fly :sun

Hi Copper, Cala St Vincente is a lovely resort. If you hire a car and drive into Puerto Pollensa on the road going into the resort you will see a parking sign, just follow it and it will take you to a car park which looks like waste land. When you walk out of it just go straight and it will take you straight to the main square (two min walk) whist there you must try Tangos its our favourite restaurant. Carry on walking (bout 3 mins) and your right on the beach.

Have a great time

Sally
