we went last week in october - and it rained constantly, and was so cold. However speaking to a couple who were there 2 weeks- said the week before was red hot- so you might just get lucky- if you have got a really cheap deal- I think i would take the risk.

It really depends oin how important the weather is to you. Personally, I wouldn't visit Corfu later than end of September as I would like to be more or less sure (as one can be) of hot tempereatures and no rain. I think you'd be at risk of a shower or two (at best) and definitley a bit chilly in the evenings.
