hi, we are going on monday from manchester and its 9and half hours, we fly at 2-55 and supposed to land at 6-00am tuesday.
thanks very much
yes its about that 9 1/2 to 10 hours if you get a tail wind it can be a bit shorter, its 91/4 from gatwick, and about 11 hours back..
Some flights stop for refuelling in Bahrain, this puts a couple of hours onto the flight time.
I am jealous to all those from Manchester flying direct.
One Monarch flight was delayed by 8 hours last week !
OH no where was the fight going from Dave, I hope mine is not delayed that would be my worst night mare We are going form Manchester on 20th.

Not sure which flight it was ! Apparently the passengers had to sit on the plane for hours as a fault had been found as it started to taxi to the runway. It was returned to the apron where the fault was fixed ( Only a door alarm, no worries about engines !)One of yesterdays return Monarch flights was delayed 5 hours. First Choice/Thompson to M/C was delayed 1 hour.Gatwick on time. Thomas Cook was hanging around for some reason after the passengers had all boarded too.
The Monarch Manchester flight was delayed by 6 hours on Saturday morning. This had a knock on effect, meaning the following day's flights were also delayed.
Our Monarch flight was delayed for 12hrs from Gatwick back in April. Monarch were good tho and put us up in the Hilton from 4pm until 2am then we eventually took off at 4am. I did hear that its not unusual for the one Gatwick Monarch flight a week to be delayed.
