it shouldn't no go/fly zones only apply to the National land/sea/air boarders of the country under the order, so flying UK/North Europe to Cyprus will be uninfected, flights that would normally pass through such airspace will take an alternative route

Only the first Gulf War which started in 1990 stopped flights to Cyprus and it took the hotels around 10yrs to get their room rates back up to the right levels again as once the tour ops went back in, they all demanded reduced accommodation prices in order to entice customers back.

There have been several conflicts in the middle east since then that have had absolutely no effect on flights in and out of Cyprus.

Don't worry, any strange flight noises in our locality other than the one we hear every morning around 8am and I will be up on the roof of our bungalow with the binoculars :)
