I assumed that if there was a Lidl in Ibiza it might have been on par with the one in Majorca. I assumed wrong. Didnt have a very favourable review so think we will steer clear.

maybe i can give you a male perspective of lidl? it's stuffed to the rafters with lashings of really good cheap ale, wines and spirits. also it has tons of easy cook/prepare food at extremely good prices - hams, cheese, sausages, bacon and so on. packet stuff like rice and pasta is a fraction of the price of the hipercentro (ibiza's most expensive supermarket), the chocolate bicuits are to die for and get this - they even sell 'rola cola'

Im not completely against shopping in Lidl, last year we used the one in Cala Millor (Majorca) and it was ace. Almost home from home even to the extent that the shop was laid out in the same way as our local one here. The main difference was things were priced in € and not £. I was just curious as to whether there was actually a Lidl in Ibiza and if not, what the alternatives were.

We have a hire car (for the very first time and boy am I excited about that ) so we can get around. We shall probably have a look and then I can post my opinion on here for others to see.

Was in the Lidl in Figueretas this week.It is next to the roundabout on the main road where you turn off for the resort.The same bottles of Vodka and Bacardi you pay over £7 for here cost just £4 there.Also bottled water-essential-much cheaper here.
