My main question is, has anyone done a trip to Florence from here? The hotel doesn't seem to do excursions to Florence, only to Venice and surrounding islands which we're also doing, but as a die hard art lover, I really want to do a day trip to Florence!! Anyone know how easy it would be to do the trip without the aid of reps? Neither myself or my partner drive, so renting a car is out of the question!
Also, any tips on decent resturants, bars, things do to in Lido would be faaaab!!
