We first stayed there in July 2005 and loved it so decided to go back again last year. The first morning at the pool was a bit like Groundhog Day!! There were so many people there that had also been there the summer before. So I guess that speaks for itself
The apartments are very clean with towels changed daily and bedding 2/3 times a week. Try and request Block A as it has views out over the bay with great sunsets and also lovely when the moon is up. We got this first time but not the next. The pool is lovely and you only have a flight of steps down to the narrow but sandy beach. There is a supermarket on site which sells most things and there are several others within a few minutes walk. It is about 5 mins walk to the start of the restaurants and there are lots. Most were very nice but our favourites were Enigma, Terpsis and Philosophia(which is down the track next to Pefki Island Apts- go in time to see the sunset!) The Pizza place at the far end was good too. It's worth hiring a car for 2 or 3 days as it is a lovely island. We found Marathon car hire to be quite cheap and also reliable. I'm sure you will love it.

Thank you very much for your reply, it sounds loads better than where we have stayed for the 2 year(not in pefkos). And im glad as we are not only going for a holiday, we are also getting married while we are there. We get married in Lindos.

My mum sent an e-mail to Lindia Thalassia the other week asking them if we can all be put in block A, and ground floor if possable. As we have got a 2 year old Daughter and so has my Sister, also my Nanna is not great with a lot of stairs.
I didnt think they would reply but they did and they said they was looking forward to meeting us and they would do there best with our request.

Is there anywhere that i can order a birthday cake from as my mum is 50 while we are there, so its gonna be a bit of a double celebration on this holiday.

We have stayed twice at the Lindia fantastic place.
We also got married last year in Lindos had a fantastic time we used the services of Karen and Lawrence who came well recommended thru this forum.

Sorry can't help with the cake. However, there is a bakery on the hill just above the main strip beside Tsambika's restaurant. Maybe they could help. Don't have any contact info. though.

We have aranged all our wedding plans with First Choice.
Do you have to book all your wedding with Karen and Lawerance or can you use them to book bits like photos and wedding cars?
