Well i know the location of Three Brothers but haven't stayed there myself. It's on the road out of Lindos that leads down to the main beach. Not a bad spot but the road might be busy at certain times of day as you're out of the pedestrianised village centre.

One of my favourites if you're booking privately is Augoustos and Flora's. It's towards the back of the village, in a fairly quiet spot but still close to shops, bars and restaurants. Rooms are spotlessy clean and well maintained and Flora absolutely adores children so i'd say ideal for a family.

To be honest the majority of Greeks love kids and tend to take their children out with them, even late at night so anywhere will be family friendly. Some of my favourite restaurants are Ambrosia, Stephany's, Dionysos, Odyssia and Olympia, if you like Italian food Casa Della Pizza and Broccolino are also very nice (though Broccolino's tiny kitchen means the menu is a bit restricted).

As for bars you'll be welcomed anywhere, even those with thumping music for the party crowd tend to have a quieter outside area. I'd say the ones with the nicest outside terraces are Lindos By Night, Antika, Captain's House and Rainbird.
