Hi all,
Next week I move to Los Cristianos to work initially for a few months but depending on how well this go's it could be permenent. I will be moving on my own and living in Los Cristanos, becasue of the hours I will be working I will have two days off a week and will have all my evennings free so I would like to know if there are any clubs I can join or anything to keep myself amussed so I dont get too home sick
I am really keen for this to work out so I want to try and get involved in as much stuff as possible, I would also like to learn spanish. Does anyone know of any evenning classes out there?
I am very excited about moving but as it gets closser I am now getting a little bit scared but this is normal I imagine!!
I would really apreciate it if any one can give me any answers to these questions and also any other useful information on any aspect of living in Tenerife. many thanks Jem
Where exactly are you going to be living in LC?
I will be living very close to Castle Harbour apartments.
For starters if you are interested we use the gym and steam room at the Hollywood Mirage. Membership is open to all residents at 15 Euros per week they also have squash courts available as well. You can post on their noticeboard for people to play.
There is a Language School at the top of the hill just opposite the taxi rank outside the new Paradise Park Hotel swimming pool.
Also I think the Paradise Park hosts sponsored walks for charity events. You could ask at the reception.
Thank you very much for the info Peter, this is just the sort of stuff I wanted to know, sounds like there will be plenty of things to do to keep me busy. many thanks Jem
