I haven't been but looked up 3 agents who have the hotel and they all give the same address and all say it is in the business district. For those who know the city the location map is here
Re Nancy Chandler- I think her maps are a must and we have sent off for a new Bangkok one( I always get an up to date one and besides which we gave our last one away). However, she can make mistakes. We were once half an hour late for a reservation at a popular restaurant as she had the location wrong. We arrived hot, flustered and in a bad mood swearing the map would go in the bucket- but didn't when we calmed down

Cannot find it on my paper map, looking at Fionas map it is a long way out of Chiang Mai town, as we come to Carrefour to get our shopping from Doi Saket have given you a link to more hotels in town.

Sorry, I followed your map Fiona, if you look at the map I posted, at top left you will see Huai Kaeo Rd leading to Zoo, maybe it is there, you will find that Thai will spell the same road with different spellings, Hotel looks beautiful.(did a Google)

My son lives in Chiang Mai and we have been on this road. It is a very long road and has plenty of restaurants and shops. There was even a little market at night there. As far as I can remember it is not too far to the centre of Chiang Mai but you can always get a tuk tuk.

Did a Google, seem's its the one on Fiona's map on the way out of town near Carrefour, towards Doi-Saket, guessing, about five miles.

Its number 2 on this map, on the way out of town, (sorry this has been bugging me)

Thanks to all of those who have replied to me. Pat42 my son also lives in Chiang Mai so I emailed him to go and take a look. He in fact lives in Huay Kaew Road but he has just emailed to tell me that this Hotel is up by the Super Highway a fair treck from where he lives. I am still a bit confused as the address is Huay Kaew Road. I think I will book the Yaang Come Village as everything is more or less on your door step.
