Hello Everyone
Looking to book a holiday in mainland spain this year, as me and my wife normally go for either the balerics or canaries we fancy a change. I would like to give Marbella a go but I'm not sure where to book for the hotel. We have booked flights with easyjet so only need a hotel room for 2 weeks in June. Looking for something quite near the centre though with a pool etc. Can anyone recommend a good hotel for me for around £1000 for the 2 weeks.

A good deal is at the SKOL apts (google Skol Apts) - right on the Paseo and near all amenities so one does not need a car - studio with kitchen is about 315 English Pounds per week - also they have 1 and 2 bedroom apts. There is a restaurant by the pool and many nearby restaurants. Have not been there but hear good reports - not new but satisfactory and facing the sea - check their website - you can book with Des in the UK - Have a great holiday. Hotels are so expensive that time of year and an apt gives you flexibility to have breakfast at the apt and dine out at so many different restaurants in the aea and also you are near the old town (walking distance) - Bon Voyage
