We stayed at the Castalia Park 2 years ago having been moved there from the Yucca Park complex by our travel agent. Los Brezos looked the nicer of the two complexes with a nicer pool area but you can use the facilities of either. The pools at Castalia Park are kind of cascading down through the complex and are not very big. It was very quiet when we were there (over Christmas and New Year) and not a lot of families, mostly couples. The rooms were fairly basic but clean enough and a decent size. I felt very secure in the complex, at night you can only access by one entrance and there is a clearly visible security presence (having had a room burgled in another hotel on a previous visit to Tenerife this is important to us!!) Location wise it is ideal, far enough away from bars and restaurants that you get little noise but within reasonable walking distance of all facilities. I would have no hesitation in returning to Los Brezos or Castalia Park, nice complex and when we stayed it was reasonably priced. Hope this has been of some help.
