Probably the worst thing that can happen, is you,ll have to pick your tickets up at the airport. i shouldn't worry too much.
they won't want to haveto pay you compensation!!!

As mentioned above .... there's no problem at all picking tickets up at the airport, but I know what you mean, it's always better to have them with you before you go.

As an aside, First Choice are probably the best (in this price range) operators there are. Once you've flown long distance with monarch, you'll know the difference.

I booked with directholidays a couple of years ago online, and i only realised after a couple of phone calls that we had to pick up the tickets at the airport. We didn't get charged for this either.
I just had to go to a desk, tell them the lead passenger name, and all our tickets were handed over to me, so please try not to worry

this has jsut happened to me! I booked through Thomas Cook to travel with first choice on 13th November. The week befreo we were due to travel i rang Thomas Cook to see where hte tickets were as I hadnt received any. They rang first choice who said that they would send them next day to Thomas Cook at trafford Center. We waited and they didnt show! So Thomas Cook rang first choice again, and this time were told that becuase I hadnt rang ot say that I agreed to the lfight changes (going via gatwick from manchester) they had put a block on my tickets! Thomas Cook had a rant at them and so did I, as the letter I recieved form them did not state anywhere that I had to confirm, and they didnt tell us this the first time round. Eventually the released the tickets and I picked them up from Thomas Cook.

My advice would to be ring them again, hassel them, you have paid a lot of money for this and I guess like me you dont want to pick them up at the airport. I wanted them in my hand so everything could be checked before we travelled. In the end it all turned out ok, but it is stressful!

No tickets again today, but travel agent for my letter for 25kgs plus handluggage, they are still trying to contact first choice, oh well, only another day and half, lol can see me picking my tickets up from Gatwick on Thursday

oh no! hope it works out for you, i was in this situation myself so know how you feel. I am currently writing a complaint eltter to them. MAybe if we all do the same first choice will get hte ,essage that its not right for them to mess up people tickets!
