Went to this hotel with an open mind and booked the holiday through Dial Direct Travel. Upon arrival we were treated like royalty from the minute we arrived at the hotel. We were transfered to our room by a buggy and the cases caried up thre flights of stairs.

We stayed in a family room with 2 bedrooms living room and 1 bathroom. The rooms were kept very clean and the fridge stocked with mineral water and soft drinks. There were some nights we did not have hot water due to the fact that between 6 and 7pm everyone was taking a shower. If you waited until after 8pm then the water was back on. We had a view overlooking the lake. During Dawn and dusk they would go round the complex with a spray for Mossies each evening but that did not stop the little mites from biting you. There are 2 buffet restaurants and the choice of meals was very good. The hotel had theme nights in some restaurants ie: Fish night BBQ night which were very enjoyable along with a show.

The restaurant area was very clean and the food was hot with plenty to choose. They had a childrens corner which had pasta, chips, burger ec. The speciality restaurant was our favourite and the steaks were to die for. Many english customers raved on about how nice the sea food was. The manager would walk round the restaurants checking if everything was ok with the guests. The restaurant staff were quick and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. The bar staff were also very good and friendly though we did find that some of our foreign friends treated the staff like dormats with no please or a thank you when getting served. There was plenty of sunbeds at both pools and at the beach. We would always get a bed around 9am in the morning no problems. The grounds are well kept and even though it is a new resort it will take time for the plants to mature.

The hotel provides you with beach towels each day. We did find that the heated pool is not heated in April but it was not a problem. There is a large play area for the children and the animation team were very good.

The toilets by the 2 pools were spotless in every way. The hotel did consist of mostly Russians, French and German with only a handful of English guests. The english guests that we did meet were great to get on with which made a difference to our holiday. However, as time goes on there will be more English guests too. The reception staff were very helpful and overall it was a joy to stay at this hotel. We will be returning again next year. Mr Salah the manager made sure he looked after his guests 100%. We used the taxi at the front of the hotel to go into Hurghada and look round the shops. The taxi driver waited for us and then he brought us back. We were not hassled in Hurghada and felt very safe. We have just come back from Egypt after booking this holiday with Dial Direct Travel. They did tell us that when we got to the hotel that they cater a great deal for Russians French and Germans. We arrived with an open mind and we had a great holiday. We did not have a stomache ache druing our stay. The hotel was spotless and the entertainment team were very friendly. Our 4 year daughter followed them everywhere and sang the theme song with them every day by the pool. We had a family room which was large and airy. We are booking our next holiday for June 06 with Dial Direct Travel to go back to the same hotel. I will give you a full review very soon. All I can say is thanks for the reccommendation and the honesty of this travel agent.
