"Your holiday is only 6 weeks away" read the email we received from First Choice yesterday.
The message urged us to log in to our account , register our passports etc and it offers a handy check list too "Great"
We registered our details and then a page opened to inform us of a new service they are running in conjunction with a third party. As we were taking an infant they can now offer all manner of baby supplies delivered directly to your hotel room on the day of arrival. Great we think,, why has no one ever thought of that before?
We have taken our older lad abroad many times since he was a baby and not found it a problem, but it would be handy says the wife.
So we select 14 pouches of our baby's favorite tea time slop and put them in the basket. They do allsorts on this site, food, nappies wipes , the lot.
Then we go to the checkout and ok the price for the 14 items is about 30-40% more than here but that's not to bad and comes to about 25 quid. Then they sneak in a "delivery charge"of £75 pounds!!!!! 100 quid for £17/18 worth of goods.
What a laugh they are having!! who on earth would ever bother with this???
I am sure the Dragons would opt out of this non starter..........
Fair play for your cheek First Choice thanks but ummmm no thanks.....
Probably cheaper to take it with you and pay excess baggage charges..
Absolutely absurd

Definitely! the things only weigh 130 grams each .
Not worried about going over weight as our lad has 20 kilos plus hand luggage its the whole waste of time service that got us .
I run a baby equipment hire service in Limassol, Cyprus rather than the stuff you are looking for and am aware of a couple of independent companies which have links on my site who offer to supply nappies, foodstuff, toiletries, sun stuff etc to UK and overseas holiday accommodations.
I've just had a quick look at delivery costs....
