10 years ago Madeleine went missing during a family holiday in Portugal. Holiday Truths immediately tried to help by keeping her photo at the top of the forums along with any information given. We ran it for a long time ( Glynis, do you remember how long we kept it).
It's terrible that 10 years on and we really know nothing.
However the police have continued the case until maybe now. The funding is about to run out. Do you think it should continue?
After 10 years the inquiry should end
We holidayed a lot in the Algarve at the time she went missing & I remember to this day when we were out & about in our hire car touring around the countryside looking out of the window wondering where she was. It broke my heart.
This is sad. I did a quick Google inquiry and found out that as of April this year, "the remaining detectives continued to pursue a small number of inquiries which they see as significant," meaning that they may still find a trace along the way.
And so the investigation continues with another 154k awarded.
Seriously..... how much more, when is enough enough.? There's already been 11million spent on this one missing child.
What about all the other missing children... Will they be afforded the same amount of money? No didn't think so.
At the very least the McCanns should have been charged with neglect.
