Yes in February it is dead, We have stayed in Palma Nova in Feb/March and all you find in Magaluf is a cafe open and a odd gift shop, very quite result. Palma Nova next door has a few hotels open and in the winter does some free trips for visiters. Markets, nature reserves, even horse racing I saw once
