There is every chance that you will still require the lotions (and possibly Bikini), so pack them to be on the safe side.
We are going to be there the week before you, we actually fly home on the 30th, our two will still get smothered in the good old factor 50.

we we in Alcudia a couple of years go and still managed to get in the pool a few times, so you maybe lucky :D We are going to be in Magaluf 21-28 october and are hoping for some sunshine, and I will be packing my bikini

Hubby and I were in Santa Ponsa 5 years ago for our siver wedding. We flew out on the 30th October and it is no exageration to say we had 15 days of torrential rain. It was splashed all over the paper (excuse the pun) The storms were so bad we spent 48 hours with no electric (those who ventured outside at night carried candles) and huge trees were being uprooted and tossed around the roads. We had to find restaurants that cooked with gas so that we could eat. Here's hoping you fare better :glynis

Hi i was wondering if you could tell me where you got the 15 day forecast from - i've checked out a couple of 10 day ones and temps are much higher than that - can they really drop so much over just a few days?

To be honest, whatever forecast you consult for November, chances are the weather will be variable. Last year, it was in the mid 20s during the first week but then collapsed. Try the yahoo, bbc, or weather.com forecasts; they all tend to be ok despite my caveat.

Bear in mind that the clocks go back last week of October so the sunlight hours are shorter. If it's good and sunny, after 4 in the afternoon the sun gets pretty weak.

Hope it's good for you.

thanks andrew - so long as we have a nice break it can snow all week for me :D i was just surprised to note that the 10 day forecasts are still showing temps for Palma in the mid 20's and yet the 15 day one quoted above has a high of 15 degrees.... just out of interest how does the clocks here and there affect the time difference, will they be 1 hour ahead????? :?:

Well, Spain time is always one hour ahead of the UK, and it remains so after the clocks go back, which they do the same time as UK, which will be the night of the 28th October.

Don`t worry, it definitely will not snow!!!

I am usually still in shirt-sleeves at the end of November. Maybe not tropical but a good deal warmer and sunnier than back in London!

We have just got back from a week in Magaluf, and i thought the weather was great, better than i expected it to be, i had bikini tops on most of the time EVERY day, so hopefully the weather should stay nice for you, never needed much more than short sleeves in the evening either, was fab.

We have just returned from callas de mallorca and the weather was fab. Bikinis during the day and short sleeves at night. We were sat on our balcony at 11 at night in short sleeves. Definately pack the sun creams!!
Hopefully it should stay nice, fingers crossed :D
