Hi Everyone!
I get married next year and we will be taking our two year old on our honeymoon. Originally I wanted to go to Florida but it is proving too expensive, and as people have pointed out, my son wouldn't remember it at such a young age. Anyway, the travel agent recommended Majorca as she says it's a lovely place to take children and has great beaches with shallow seas. She advised me against Alcudia as she says it can be quite rowdy.
I'm trying to keep costs down and have seen a good deal at Son Baulo Hotel in C'aN Picafort. Is this a suitable place to take a toddler? The hotel is right on the beach which looks lovely, but is it a nice beach? Is Majorca a good choice of place to take a toddler? Sorry about all the questions, I just really don;t have a clue about any areas of Majorca as we've never been. Is there anywhere you would recommend?
Thanks so much!
Anne

The Son Baulo is at C'An Picafort, which is the quiet. peaceful end of Alcudia. Very nice beach right on the doorstep. Another option is Puerto Pollensa, highly recommended (been going there since 1999). You cannot beat the north of Mallorca for very nice, family friendly resorts.
i've been alcudia a few times and its definately not rowdy. its a great family resort with a huge beach..and its flat which is good for the pushchair. Nice marina and lots of good restaurants and they all cater for children. We're off to santa ponsa this time..You could also look at menorca as thats supposed to be good for the younger children. calan forcat and calan bosch.
I to can vouch for Puerto Pollensa with children Lovely beaches, crystal clear waters and plenty to do
