Hi, we have booked to go to the Makadi Palace in May 2007 - the brochure appealed as did all the reviews which have been posted on various sites. However, today I have been into Going Places to price up the same hotel in October 2007 to find that a lot of the restaurants and evening entertainment have been stopped. Going Places have contacted Airtours for me but they were less than helpful, advising her to go on the information they had on their site. If this is the case it is suggesting that 3 of the restaurants are closed and there is no entertainment, which I find quite disturbing for a supposed 5 star hotel. They have given me the option to change my holiday free of charge but wanted to try and find out any info I could before i change the holiday. We have been looking forward to this holiday since last year and are reluctant to change it. Even if anyone can locate an email address for the hotel, i have tried various searches to no gain.

Am thinking of booking either the Makadi Grand or The Makadi palace for Aug 2008.Has any one been?Which one is the best for 2 weeks in the sun by the pool? Any thoughts would be a great help.
