Hi seagull ... Malaga is one of those places which tends to be discussed more frequently in the Costa del Sol forum than here in City Breaks. It may be worth having a look (or posting) there for info on Malaga, Cordoba and Granada.

I've flown into Malaga to visit Cordoba and went by train. Easy enough, there's a local station at the airport which takes you to the main station and then it's a direct express train ride to Cordoba, takes under 2 hours and the fare is about €20 each way (they vary like airfares). The line I went on wound through some quiet rugged mountain scenery but is being rebuilt which usually means straighter and a lot of tunnels. Cordoba well worth a visit, even an overnight stay. Never went to Granada, I went the other way to Sevilla
