Is there a left-luggage facility at Malaga bus or railway station?

Left luggage facilities at both.... look for Consigna (left- luggage)
Here is a map of Malaga train station (Maria Zambrano), go to page 3 and use the zoom in function, look for number 62 (consigna)
Apparently you pay according to the size of the locker at the train station.

Read that there def is also left- luggage facilities at the bus station too.
