Sorry Elaine- I can't help at all. We never did go on the evening cruise this time round.

I went on the Manorha Song on a day cruise visiting Grand Palace and Wat Arun, there were six of us in total and we were not using the cabins. Nor did we use the loungers as it was a cloudy day...however the interior deck area was spacious enough...and as all six of us got on there was no feeling of I need to get away from these people.

Photos I have seen on the website show six sunbeds set up on the deck area. I think on a cruise of this calibre a sun bed will be allocated for each guest.

You could always charter the Manorha Dream which only has two cabins, bit more expsensive though.

As the Manorha starts from the Bangkok Marriott there maybe facilities to store luggage there.

Thanks Sunbear

I'm not too worried about getting on with people, it's just that if you do happen to find that you're stuck with someone you can't stand for 3 days, I think it could be a bit difficult to get some breathing space without having to resort to developing a headache

I think that your idea of "a bit more expensive" must be different from mine :) The Manhora Song costs US$1150 for 2 nights, whereas chartering the Dream would be US$4000!

Anyway, the Song cruise looks better and better each time I look at it, so I think we'll go for it - provided we don't change our minds between now and next April and go somewhere entirely different of course :?
