the first part is the apts are not very good and the bad reviews are continuing this year if you can change i would

as for drink the main Commercial centre is not that far walking for those apts if you cant change and it is split into 4 phases the bars in phase 1V are the cheapest , so the furthest away from Mcds up the hill and the ones like harleys etc are the most expensive and busiest these are in Phase 1 the first part you hit coming in from the mcdonalds end , there are loads of places to eat and all roughly the same as tenerife and the same food styles , chinese, indian, steak houses, seafood and english

by the harbour there is a place called Pizzeria clan which is brilliant and in a small centre called Agua la Perre centre (just get a taxi) there is Oasis and one next door that are both very ggod . sorry forgot the name of the other and the chinese is good there as well

the europa at the top of the hill is more family orientated and has bars and restaraunts , the best bars being Pickwicks or the sportman for a quiet drink or xtreemz and turbos for a lively one , and the Barbacoa(i hate the big tent personally) if you like blackpool in the sun and dodgy cabaret acts

places to eat teh best ones are Bistro Frere, Flicks and Amadeus and also Picassos which is just outside the centre on the road again all prices are roughley the same as tenerife

if you look at this site http://www.canaryforum.com/forums/index.php it will give you a good idea on all of PR it is a GC site but is mainly Pr as that is where it started out by Owen a ex pat who runs it , all bars/restaraunts and the accom have reviews and also if you look at http://www.rab.c.fotopic.net/ which is full of picures of Puerto rico , bars restaraunts and apt complex

Thanks a lot guys for all the info,unfortunatley cant change so will just have to make the best of it,probably wont spend to much time in the apartments.As long as I have a bed,I'm looking forward to having a great holiday anyway.I will post a review of the apartments when I get back.
