Eating out on New Years Eve is expensive here. The larger places charge around 300 euros for gala dinners and even the small english type bars charge 60 to 100 euros. Many smaller ones don't do anything and close early. Chinese will be open.

Marbella and san Pedro both have a live band and bars starting about 11pm. San Pedro around the large church and down the main street which is traffic free and in marbella in orange square outside the Town Hall. Everyone takes their own champagne to open at midnight and of course the grapes to wish on. Difficult to get taxis if you want to drink. Celebrations will go on until about 4am or later
