hi new to the site! just wondered if anyone has stayed at the marhaba salem, im looking to go next may 2 adults.2 kids and 2 15 year old girls.i have found a bargin price and would love to go but a bit worried about some of the stories,just wondered if its so bad that you would be scared to leave the hotel grounds? and does anyone know the transfer time from the airport to this hotel? and last of all is there anyone who has taken children mine will be 4 and 10 would there be plenty for them to do?? thanks alot any advice would be great nicola x

Hi Nicola - if you look on the hotel reviews on this site you will see that the Marhaba Salem has consistently good ratings from members. I stayed in this hotel in January for a night and all the staff were lovely and the food excellent. It is on the outskirts of Sousse so you would have to take a taxi or Noddy train to the town - having said that, they are very cheap and you are also placed nearer to Port el Kantaoui should you wish to go there. Tunisia is very safe and the Tunisians love children. I am sure that many more members will be happy to set your mind at rest in the next few days. Have a lovely holiday - Jenny x
