Another fantastic holiday

I can confirm that The Marina Bar is still alive and kicking

The food is 1st class, as always, and the chips are just like 'mother used to make'

They do 'specials' as well, which are 2 meals for 7 Euro's

Jon and Marie, from Teesside, will give you a warm

Further along from their bar (ie after the car park area finishes), there's lots of bars shut, but on the front line, next to the boats & water, there's a full compliment of bars that are open.

Never found a good place in the Port. Most go bust every year and another sucker takes their place. Soggy chips and microwaved meals is the norm!

i agree in general,as usual they are run by amateurs,and that is what happens,only the best survive tho,family bar,ku damm,and i have to add the marina bar to the list,if you eat anywhere else jacky(on the port) then you are a fool,mind i have been too ku damm twice an it was not so good but that was years ago

lets be honest 70% of locals there are shut and poeple were paying 50k for a lease 5 years ago,now they are rent only so you get pissheads from the uk running them till they realise they dont get dole here

Agreed, most bars setup by wideboys trying to make a quick fortune but are ameteurs. I avoid them all.
