I would describe the port in Blanes as more of a harbour. It's not very big nor is it especially attractive, but there are a couple of nice bars/restaurants that overlook it. I have spent many a pleasant summers evening sat outside watching people ( not so many boats ) come and go. During the mornings it is quite busy with the fishing boats. I don't know of any other ports or marinas on the Costa Brava. The most impressive marina I ever saw was at Benalmadena on the Costa Del Sol. Stunning!
