Does anyone have any experience of the Mariners Apts in Alcudia? What are the facilities like, especially for kids? Where are the apts in relation to the beach and attractions?

welcome to HT
you will find reviews on the link below

I think you will find the appts are situated and the back of Alcudia not far from the jupiter complex and close to the water park, but a bit of a trek from the beach

hi, ive recently booked my first holiday abroad only to realise that the Mariners Club appartments dont have air conditioning, i thot that would be standard in such a hot place and im a bit worried about sleeping in the intense heat during the night. Does any one know if there has been air conditioning put in this hotel? I read some reveiws saying that it was going to be installed this summer. Im going in july and have a 6 year old daughter who has also never been in the sunshine very long as we live in scotland and as you can imagine its absolutely baltic here all the time.
ment to be a good accommodation my mum and family are off their in june
there is a hire shop a few yards away so fans can be hired just in case.
you will love it there , we did both times.

If you go to the Hotel Reviews Section at the top of the page on the left and go to Majorca there are several reviews on the Mariner Club.
Also the thread above you "Alcudia Questions and Answers" has all you need to know about restaurants, entertainment and everything else to do with Alcudia.
Hope this helps

Is this place any good as we will be taking my 3 year old grandson?
The best place for food and drink close to hotel
Best place to change money close to hotel
And any other info you can give about the hotel and location
I look forward to all replies
I thank you in advance
Linda
I dont know about the hotels location, but as regards money-changing, a lot of people just take a load of euros and store them in the safe. Then, maybe get a bit more on plastic if needs be, right at the end. This way, you dont need to cart your passport around with you.
This hotel is very close to the club mac comples at the back of the resort, the water park is a short walk away.
i have read the reviews but can anyone tell me how long it will take to walk to the beach and the centre of the resort from these apts and as a light sleeper should we be asking for a certain area for our room, also is there a sunbed rush as we are going whit week.
