I have never been to gumbet before ,Only marmaris.Marmaris has lots of night life,theres plenty going on all over.we have booked to go next year it will be our third time.Sorry i cant give you any comments on gumbet.

We too have only been to Marmaris, the nightlife is fantastic, something for everyone. And theres more restraunts than you could ever eat at.

The beach in marmaris is small and man-made, water is very clear and turquiose in appearance (hence the name turquise coast).

You can also take out day trips to Turtle Beach, or pop to Icmeler which is 10mins away which seems to have a slightly nicer beach (but only seen in from a speedboat in the bay)

The views from marmaris beach are stunning, mountains surround you, stunning scenary.

And yey, we fly out there tommorow

ive been to both resorts and prefer marmaris although the beach isnt up to much, you will need to go to icmeler for a better beach but its only 5 mins on the dolmus . if you want nice beaches and lots of party atmosphere then maybe kusadasi might suit you better, it was too busy for me but lovely beaches there and plenty of bars, we all go for different things on holiday i personally like the quieter prettier places, but if the beach is a big priority then look elsewhere

I've now booked up for Marmaris, 2 weeks in June staying at the Passa Beach Hotel. Any reviews on this hotel? Well it's too late now anyway as it's done!

Yes I would also reccomend Kusadasi For you As Night like ranges from Low Key to Full Swing Clubbing But if going in Low Season You would probably be wanting to be in Center Kusadasi As Round By ladys Beach Can Get very Desserted!! But i Have also been To Marmaris and gumbet i found gumbet to be the best But marmaris wasnt as bad as we thought it was going to be (we Were Ex[ecting the faliraki Of turkey!) But Marmaris wasnt as Personal like Because its A bigger resort they just seemed to want your money Were as Gumbet the People tend to make an effort As it being smaller resorts!
