Not stayed at these apartments but have stayed at the Ros Apartments just opposite them. The Marsol apartments look OK and are in a great position right on the beach and a short stroll from all the restaurants and shops. The position they are in is not too noisy as the noisiest place near them is the Orquidea which seems to go fairly quiet at midnight.

Orquidea - has a disco for tennagers that starts at midnight - and goes on til 2-230 am !!

Aren't the authorities now clamping down on excessive noise after certain times?

It may just be noise from people coming & going

Hi Scoop,it has been law now for a few years that noise ie:music mainly but especially live music should not be heard from outside of premises after midnight which is why most late night places have double doors and sound proofing.

Most if not all hotels break the law nightly with their live outdoor entertainment acts but in most cases this law breaking is overlooked,unless a denouncement is officially made.Abiding by this law would cut down tourism to Ibiza for sure.

Tongue in cheek:
The law does not affect the Spanish themselves on Fiesta nights especially fireworks which normally start after midnight.

Hi JMO1970, We have stayed 3 times at the Ros apartments which are directly opposite the Orquidea and have never heard any noise to speak of after midnight. All I can say is the Orquidea disco must have very good soundproofing !!!

The Ros apts are behind Orquidea pool area - its the pool area that gets the brunt of the noise - outdoor entertainment til midnight - which is fair enough - but then teenage disco til 2-230am !
