I've just booked this in Agia Marina, Crete for next summer. I know the area well and my wife and children have been many times. This is a new complex and I would love to hear from anyone who has stayed there.
Yammas!
Hi Richard check out my review under hotels Mastorakis Village
Regards have a good time, we are back there in June
crete hotel reviews on the following link
I've added my review, too. I don't like Agia Marina as a resort - prefer Paleochora - but, if that's where you want to be, you can't do better than to stay at the Mastorakis!
hi we are also at this place first two weeks in june, have read the comments, sound ok. we have been with kosmar numerous times to numerous places and been happy with accomodation everytime. just looking forward to getting there
Isn't it amazing how you're going just before the world cup and we go on 11 July....just 2 days after. Some coincidence! Hope you post a report when you get back. Give us a few more tips about Mastorakis. It really is a great part of the world. I've been going there since 1979 so you can imagine how it has changed. The beaches used to be grassy and totally deserted. The only tourists were Germans who were there to visit graves at Maleme. No Scandinavians and certainly no Brits (they were all in the east of the Island). All the signs were in Greek and German. Rarely see a German now, even in Chania. Yammas!
