Can anyone recommend a good place for me to buy some good material that I can have made up into curtains when I get home?

Golden Collection in Panjim. I got most of my fabrics from there for my curtains!
take into account the size of your curtains 1st, as an average weight of fabric for say a 90x90 is about 5kg you will need about 10m of fabric depending on pattern repeats and if your case is over weight it may work out more expensive than buying at home, obviously this will depend on the type of fabric your after but do some research 1st
