We had bigger(140knt winds/3 days) storm in Dec off the english coast on the Gem and it copes very well.
It is pot luck, if the deal is right and we had the time we would just go.
We are booked on the Jade Jan no idea if it will be good then but not expecting to be using the pools.
We did the Med in 2006 on RCI and the weather could not have been better
I think the Med in November can be pot luck. If the price was right and it was a ship I really liked then it would not put me off doing it.
Just returned from Med on 14 nighter from Southampton. Our dates in the Med were from 13th to 21st October, and the weather was excellent at mid 20's C or mid 70's F. The week before we went however, Oceana was unable to berth at either Palma or Ibiza because of storms. November we would not do if good weather was a priority.
I wouldn't cruise the med in Nov. Could be ok but even then not warm enough to swim. Example right now in málaga it is a chilly 13C and overcast with a stormy sea!
Just done a short hop from Limassol to Lebanon, Syria and back again last weekend with barely a roll...
We did a cruise for 1 week from Palma to Malta, Florence, South of France, Menorca back to Palma the year after the one from Limassol and we had a terrible crossing from Menorca to Palma in September!
It's pot luck and a lot depends on which destinations you take in. Certainly, it seems East Med is probably better than the Western end of the Med at certain times of year.
