Hi , we really enjoyed the Pirate ship night out, basically you go out to sea on really authentic looking gallions eat, drink, and dance the night away! O and the have a battle with the other ships on the way back .

Its a great evening out and you can take part as much or little as you wish.

The captain of our ship was very amusing and kept us entertained all night whilst his band of cut throats kept the all inc drinks flowing.

Its also a nice opportunity to get some good pictures of the hotels lit up from the sea.

All in all well recommended.

We also did a bar crawl sold through Thompson, this was a truly shocking night! avoid at all cost its rubbish! Got our money back when we returned to the UK as we were clearly miss-sold and lied to by the rep.

Take the boat over to Cozumel, it's a nice day out. You can also swim with dolphins over there.

Hi, we just got back a week and a bit ago and we did 2 fantastic excursions with our 9 yr old daughter, the first is xcaret , a huge eco park where you can swim with dolphins, snorkal in the cenotes, see lots of wild animals, see horse shows, blimey, I can't remember, there is loads to see and do, you can stay for the night show, which is amazing, tells the story of mexican history from the mayan gods to modern day mexico.
The other is xel-ha, a natural laggoon, this is fully inclusive, so all food and drinks are included, you can snorkal, bike ride, swim with dolphins and manatees, float down a lazy river, jump off a cliff !!( its not very high)
If you google these, they both have websites which tells you all about them.
You really will have a great time, mexico is amazing :tup

Xcaret & Xel-ha sound similar?

Is Xcaret a "park" type of place (perhaps aimed more at children or families) & Xel-ha more natural?

Hi, yes they are quite similar, but both very different experiences ( if that makes sense !!) both very family orientated and have a lot to offer, I'd say go to both as I wouldn't be able to choose between the 2 if I could only do 0ne trip.
cheers,
juby
