Hi all
I think these are such a rip off its cheaper to buy the full size does anyone buy these?
I don't Mari. I don't think there'd be enough to last hubby and I for a 2 week holiday and as you say it's much more economic to buy full size.
Best thing to do is buy the normal full size and decant into smaller bottles. You can buy sets of travel bottles or just keep various bottle from things you have used during the year. Body shop bottles are really good and the lables can be taken off easily.

I did on my last trip, I bought the small shampoo and conditioner used about half of each bottle left the rest with some other stuff for the maid.
They can either use them or bin them, I don't mind. They only cost about £1 each.

I've bought shampoo, conditioner and hair wax once, and now just use these bottles to decant from larger sizes. They're just the right size for my short breaks.
Must admit I do what Pippa does, I have my fave brands and some empty smaller bottles which I bought from pound land many years ago and put into the smaller ones, as size does matter - and weight of course
i usually just take normal size bottles, the only travel size things i take are shaving gel for hubby and son and what doesnt get used gets left behind
I always leave stuff behind that's half used as well.
I must admit I quite like them - but I only buy them if I see them on offer (BOGOF, 3 for 2, that sort of thing). They're handy for shorter breaks in particular and if I see them at a good price, then I might get some.
I tend to buy them for short breaks, Asda do most of them 3 for £2. I know most big bottles cost the same but for a short weekend they come in handy.
And even handier when travelling with just hand luggage! Having bought 'travel sizes' of my favourite stuff I now just keep them topped up from the bigger bottles I use at home. Also I use mainly Boots No7 skin care and they often have free giveways which are just the right size for a trip away - so I hoard these ready for weekend breaks etc.
However, when going to Cuba I pack great big bottles of shower cream, shampoo and conditioner etc because I go through so much of it - shower in the morning, shower midday after dance class, shower after sightseeing/before going out of an evening and often yet another one before going to bed if it's been a particularly humid evening and/or I've done lots of dancing! Large bottles just about last and whatever is left over I just leave behind - it's never worth the effort of bringing it back home again. One of themany reasons why the case is always so much lighter on the return journey.

I don't tend to take them when I go on holiday but than I don't tend to fly so weight doesn't matter as such.
have used them on a weekend away trip, but not enough in them for a two week hol. xphx
The only product i do buy for my hubby is a travel size shaving gel, all the other products we take with us are full size ones. They are cheaper and the travel size ones wouldnt last for the duration of our holiday. I do think travel size products are good to take on short breaks or overnight stays although i still take full size ones whenever i go away for short breaks or holidays. Ive also got this "thing" that i might run out of something even though i know i can probably buy it when im on holiday!!! In this case size does matter

I always save my mini Clinique products from when they have Bonus Time, I always have a good choice of them to choose from when I go away
Me and my best friend are going to Majorca for 4 days in July so I've been stocking up on mini products. Last year we bought full sizes in duty free (cheap moisturiser and cleanser but nice suntan lotion)and to be honest we left loads of it behind. So this year, I have decided I would rather take mini sizes of products I like even though it probably works out more expensive. I have bought a travel set of Dermalogica, Clynol and Toni & Guy. Will prob get suntan lotion at the airport.
A tube of Piz Buin once a day would not take up much room, its a really good sun lotion too.
Is it 100 ml cos we only take hand luggage for 4 days
hi all....as I have hubby and the 2 lads ...I take big sizes....but take stuff they all will use...I prefer a block of soap rather than shower gell....take just enough shampoo and conditioner ect for me ...and take the small size hairspray...I dont take the mini travel size stuff except for the deodorant for traveling and and sun screen for use on arrival...we use each others stuff if we run out of deodorant soap or shower gell...I get them to use the one bottle of sun cream and after sun at a time....then leave the open bottle of each behind and take any unopened ones home...usually there is very little left to leave behind ...
I went for a 4 day break last year....we went ryanair hand luggage only...and so decanted stuff into the travel bottles ....then bought the lads one shower gel ect between them on arrival.... tweetie

I usually buy the 200ml Piz buin as we usually go for at least a week but it is available in 100ml tubes.
