Booked to go to the Mirage at the end of August. I noticed we have a mini-bar in our room. I've never used one of these before as I heard they cost a fortune.
Can someone please explain how they work. I heard that if you life something from the fridge (even if you were just having a look) you get charged for it.
Cheers
usually the maid checks to see if anything is used or theres a peice of paper to tick if you have used anything.....the prices are sky high i would leave well alone.....why use the mini bar when you get free drinks playing the machines or playing in the casino downstairs...take one up with you....if you do use anything it will be just added on to your credit card at end of trip...in most vegas hotels now can check everything with your bill through the TV and check out using it as well.

The mini bars in Vegas are different. All the items are on pressure pads and if you remove anything for more than 30 secs to a minute it is automatically charged to your room. Best not to touch anything if you don't want to pay for it.
