If it is as you claim then why accept the charge? Or is it that the price has been itemised?

If you are not happy then contact them and complain.

Most internet booking sites now charge for credit & debit card payment, I dont agree with it but if ya gotta pay it thats life. What bugs me is a charge for a debit card when it comes straight out of your bank account. You need to read everything before you book and then you can accept or decline the booking.Cheers Jayjan

I've never been charged for paying by debit card.

My invoice from Thomson actually states the balance due, and also the amount if paid by CREDIT card i.e. with an uplift.

It is definately there. I have now decided since I have a day off tomorrow that I will ring them and query it.
