We are considering going to Mojacar in Sept, we've done virtually all the spanish coast including Roquetas - which we hated, but we were stuck out in the sticks! We're in our 60's and like self catering but wonder it it's going to be very hilly, we'd like to be on the beach but not knowing the area would be glad of any info on best places to stay and what the general area is like.
Thanks
Katy
Mojacar Playa is level for miles along the beach. But, if you want difficult walking it is only a case of going into the hinterland where walks can be as difficult as you wish.
Mojacar Pueblo is situated on top of a small mountain 1.5 miles from the PLaya but there is a good cheap local bus service.

Hi Katy, I think this website might be of use to you, there is a map of the playa which by the way is 7km long so you need to be carefull where you book to stay, all depends of course on what you want from your holiday, best wishes, John.
