Hi.

I don't know if this will be much help as have never been to Lara Beach, and never to turkey at that time of year. However, I've only ever seen two mosquitoes in Side (both in early september). I know its not much help...but I don't think you should see many, if any at all!

I haven't been to Antalya either, but think its very unlikely. The weather although probably much nicer than here won't be hot, so doubtful.

I have never been to Antalya either but there aren't mosquitoes in other parts of Turkey in December so I'm sure there wont be any.

there will not be any mosquitoes in Antalya in December. I lived in Antalya for 5 years and was never bothered by them at any time of the year.

I'd take an umbrela - from past experience

You soon discover why the pavements are so high and the drains so big.

The first December I was there we had 8 inches of rain in 24hrs.

Apparently theres 400 residences flooded in a part of Antalya, bad floods etc.

Whilst I digress and off topic.Yes we had tremendous storms for two days in Antalya but it was not the Lara side of Antalya that was affected. No flooding here. Now Mosquitoes in Lara-----I don't think so.We live about 4 K from the original posters hotel and no Mossies.Have a good holiday.
