We went to Turkey for the first time this year and stayed in the Orka Villas on the Hotel complex and it was great. We had done the Balerics to death and the Greek isles too and wanted a change.
The people at Orka are so friendly, they make your holiday.
It was so good when we were there we actually bought a brand new Villa at Mountain View. There is a bar opening early June so you should be well catered for. Maid service is excellent, they make swans with you bath towels each day.
Mountain view is located about 100m from the main Hotel complex, if you walk out of the Mountain view complex walk up the steep incline, across the road keep walking and there is a black wrought iron gate at the bottom of the hotel which you will need to head for. Just inside the gate is the pool with slides, a bar, and restaurant. The whole atmosphere is vibrant and the staff all have fun. You will see "Elvis and Steve" who usually work there in the day. I you walk up through the Hotel complex you will pass the Turkish bath then onto the main bar and top pool. At night the main bar comes alive, again the staff are jumping about, dancing on the bars, which you can do if you want !!
The hotel restaurant is fantastic. "Irfan" the restaurant manager will make you very welcome. We paid about £80 for a family of 5 for 3 courses and drinks.
If you walk out of the Hotel there is a little shop on the left. If you go right there is taxi rank. Taxis are very cheap. It will cost about 8 NTL to get into Hisaronu, its quite normal to give the driver 10 NTL.
In Hisaronu you will find everything you want. Every type of food. The people are so friendly they really want to please. Jewelry shops are everywhere and offer lots of bargains. There are loads of souvenir shops where the shop keepers want to do deals.....beware ! You will end up with 10 boxes of Turkish delight that you will never eat and it takes up alot of your bag allowance due to the sheer weight of the stuff.
All in all we had a great holiday and can't wait to get back in May....and again in July.
