Do you mean "hubbie", Doe? It is normally spelt hubby and is short for "downtrodden male person"!
I was more wondering if a bitten was a bird of some sort and Alan would dash in with a link. Quite like the description of a hubby though, did you get that from a thesaurus?

When we went to Taba in August we never saw 1 insect only lizards at night
