If you do encounter the mossies get a Turkish repellant called Sin Kov at a Supermarket preferably the larger ones as it only costs 2.5 Lira more expensive in smaller supermarkets, If you do happen to get bitten use some Toothpaste on the bite stick a plaster on it and that will stop any swelling/Itching that might happen after.

Another good repellant is called Off, it doesn't smell nasty like some of them !!

Lemon cologne is also good, both for keeping mozzies away and for stopping the itching if you do get bitten.
