Hi,
We've been planning a trip to Ireland this summer. My eldest song, aged 17 is a keen Melodeon player so we were thinking of trying to fly in, hire a car and wander about the west coast, enjoying the beaches and listening to, and maybe playing, some traditional music. Prefereably with melodeons involved.
Anyone here got any ideas of a good 10 day intinerary, and some vague locations we could try and get too?
Thanks!
Ian
Hi, I don't know where you'll be flying from or to, whether it will be into Galway or Knock but both are handy for the west coast.I can't be much help with the musical side of things but if you put a posting on the Ireland forum on Tripadvisor i'm sure you'll get a good response, good luck Maggie
Dingle in Kerry is renowned as a place where musicians gather and play, it also has the advantage of being in a particularily wonderfull location. Having said there are musical sessions in pubs all over west coast

Depending on where you are travelling from, you may be able to take advantage of flights to Shannon, Galway, Cork, Sligo, Kerry, Knock or Donegal airports.
