Hello this is my last post for a bit October that is, well we did get there after thinking we may not with the strike on the day we went.

We had to sit on the plane for over a hour, but at least we got on our way and had a good flight and got there in 2 hours and 10 minutes, we were third drop off at the Brisa Sol Apartments and we had a studio on the third floor room 313, you could just see the sea and a great view of the Super market next door.

The room was kept nice and clean with fresh towels every day, and plenty of hot water for the shower, the kitchen had all you needed for small snacks we did do a few cooked breakfasts and some salads for lunch.
For the lady's there are plenty of plugs for hair dryers with mirrors near the plugs, there is a hair dryer in the bathroom but my wife said it is not that good as it has no nozzle on the end.

The pool was the biggest bug bearer, one of those places were they wait to bag a sun bed and go off for hours, gone 4pm one day for a bed next to us, bar was over the top for there beer only went in here one night when the Karaoke was on and I think I was the only one to do a song.

Used to go to the old town most nights for food had some great meals and a few duffers the worst one was in the Atrum Restaurant on Fado night the food was not up to the rest of the restaurants in Albufeira very bland and under cooked.

Liked the Metz bar very good prices and a very nice man who runs it. I did find the hills a bit much for me this year so I think this will be the last time we go here, need more flat resorts like Tavira were we are going again in October.
