Hi all, we're travelling to tenerife on 24th August next year and returning on 31st.

My sons (he'll be 11 when we return) passport expires on the 9th Sept next year....do we need to renew before we go or is he ok to travel on that one for now?

Reason i ask is that we wont be travelling for a fairly long time after next year so the new passport will, in effect, be a complete waste of money!
