The sand dunes in Fuerteventura? The beach is known as Kite Beach but the official name is La Playa del Burro.

No problem, it really is beautiful there - the beaches down the South of Fuerteventura are also gorgeous (just past Costa Calma) if you ever decide to holiday in Fuerteventura!

The resort you'll want to look at in the brochures is Corralejo, although the dunes are a bus ride from the resort centre. Or you could always stay in one of the Riu hotels and have the dunes on your doorstep It's a lovely beach - we did the trip over from Lanza a few years ago and had an hour on the dunes watching the kite surfers.

As far as I was aware the beach to the North of the Riu Hotels is Flag Beach, to the South its Oliva Beach and further South Glass Beach.
Personaly I prefer Sotavento down in Jandia

Greetings to NicMac and this site............ nice to find NICMAC here ,it appears that sensible questions and answers will be possible here ...a shame for our old Contribution Site to have drifted off the straight and narrow.. Hotel and Resort reviews are a much needed facility,i think the other has been taken over my Caletta Residents and Frequenters absessed with trivia and controversy ! Banzai is Back
