There is a walk along the promenade that takes you into the town centre, and it's very well lit. It's a gorgeous stroll, but a fair old way in high heels though. I'd only attempt it in heels if I had 4 or 5 glasses of vino in me to numb my toes. Flat shoes or flip flops would be much better. You can get some quite dressy flip flops will will compliment any outfits. I know - I have dozens! Remind your lady that her tootsies will swell a little in the heat, which can make her high heels awkward for long walks here. She'd be best to get a cab to town, and then zigzag barefoot home along the promenade. Or you could be a gent and give her a piggy back. But do let us know first, so we can all nip down and take photos to post in here!

PS: I've just assumed cfcfan is a gent talking about his lady wearing heels... and thinking cfc is a football club? But cfcfan could well be a lady. Sorry! I can be such a tizz sometimes - and I haven't even had any wine yet!

Im a female football fan, I wear flats its my girls 18, 16 who wear the high shoes, not sure there will be enough nightlife for them after doing research on the hotel. Cant seem to find anything that suits us all, after 4* hotel in resorts in any canaries but not tenerife, we went at easter looking for somewhere different.

Aha. Well as I seem to remember from those many years ago - high heels and a long walk didn't bother me at that age... but that was without the heat making my feet a little swollen. But at least they won't have any qualms about walking home barefoot eh?

Natura Palace is a locely hotel - and the 3 of you will enjoy the spa too. No, the nightlife isn't like it is at Playa de Las Americas for example - but there's plenty of places to keep them occupied in the town. They'll love Manea Bar which is a very short walk from your hotel. Very stylish, all in white, with low seating. It's a place to get dressed up for. If they like karaoke etc... then the complex your side of town from the harbour has Legends bar and Rooftops (Rooftops is open very late). Alfie Moon's to catch up on their soaps... and The Irish Anvil which is great for live music. At the other end of town is Jungle Bar for late night boogying... and even further still is the Marina, which has the Buccaneer in the shopping centre (Thursdays to Saturdays only), and The One Bar, which is mainly 80's music.

Wax bar, in the Burger King complex is great fun too - as is the Powerhouse Rock Bar. A taxi from One Bar (the furthest) back to your hotel would probably be about €4 - €4.50.

Hi thanks for all the info, we are now looking at H10 lanzarote princess as it seems more central and the natura palace safety deposit boxes are behind reception not keen on that. The info on the bars was great and has reassured the girls there will be somewhere to go. We ususally go to Sa coma in Majorca for are main hols and Playa Blanca seems to be about the same size.

I've stayed there twice (not since 2002 mind you) and it's in an ideal location!

My favourite hotel in Playa Blanca! Yep ok it is a bit old now, but it is in a perfect location, especially if your girls are wanting to go out on the razz at night. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are good and the pool area is lovely!

Agree about Lanzarote Princess, its location is ideal. Natura Palace is too far out of town
