Hi everyone.
We have just booked a short break to Tossa de Mar 4th to 8th July.
We have booked to stay in Tossa beach hotel, is this a good choice ??
Also we are 2 couples and will need transfers from airport to Tossa they seem to range from 70 to 140 pounds, as we are two couples and sharing the cost we are wondering if car hire is better ? i have looked at auto europe and a car is approx £88 TO £100 does this sound right ? has anyone experience with auto europe ?
Thanks
Catherine x

For the transfers - are you flying into Gerona ?
John
Yes we are flying into Gerona x
Shuttles transfers may work out a little cheaper but you may find they take a long time as they could call at other resorts before Tossa.
We booked a car last year through holidayautos but that was in to Barcelona airport - couldn't fault the service though.
Have a look through the Taxis and transfers thread at the top of this forum - some recommendations in there.

http://www.reciocars.com/ they charged €118 return but the car was a lovely clean Mercedes with really smart drivers both ways. Bang on time also.
Travel Republic use Resorthoppa and I've had a look and it'll be £21 each (£84). We recently went to Tossa for 4 nights and used

Just come back from Calella, booked taxi from Girona airport from costabrava transfers, (on internet) cost 55 euros each way. Was just the two of us but the taxi that picked us up would have fit 8. Was on time to pick us up and was waiting for us at the airport. Would book them again

stayed there twice tossa beach lively across road tossa centre nice quiet drinking tv on or background music you can use facilities at both hotels no matter which you are staying at about 20 feet across road from each other
